I am a senior this year and I have to get my senior pictures done. Courtesy of my best friend CarrieJean I am getting mine done for free.(: So I've been searching the internet for some really awesome ideas and tips, and I found the few above that were a couple of my favorites.
If you play any instrument I think it's a good idea to at least take a few pictures with them, it makes a beautiful photo and it really brings out your personality. Choose things that you love to do, like reading or sports.
Like the second picture on the top it's okay to not always have your face be the main focus, it's pretty cool to have a different focus and then you be in the background. Don't just keep doing the same facial expression and the same pose, this creates variety and you might find a new side of yourself that's more photogenic.(:
