Annie Frenzel

I found Annie Frenzel on Instagram, and immediately fell in love with her tattoos. She does a lot of women's faces, but a ton of other stuff too. She just recently got engaged and came out with her first t shirt in the picture above. She is my favorite as far as portrait tattoos go, she's up there with Kat Von D.(:
If you go follow her on Instagram you can see a lot more of her art. Or if you wanna buy her t shirt here's a link. http://merchandise.cottoncontrol.com/browse/annie-frenzel/de,0,1741,0,0.html
I hope you guys enjoy her art as much as I do.(:

Walden

I just bought this copy of Walden by Henry David Thoreau, and I'm so excited to read it. It was suggested by an old English teacher I had after I posted about how I wanted to live in a cottage in the woods.
What she told me about the book really intrigued me, apparently it was some of the works that inspired passive resistance, you know, like Ghandi and Martin Luther King Jr.? That really inspired me to buy this book and of course I love reading classic vintage novels. And it's a really attractive cool cover.
The book is rather small, which I tend to not enjoy reading books under 200 pages, but i feel like this will definitely be worth it.(:

Bec Winnel

I want to introduce to you all this amazing artist named Bec Winnel. She lives in Australia, and is just beyond talented. The women in the above collage are just my favorites of her many pieces. She does a lot of colored pencil pieces.
She is a huge inspiration to me and probably one of my favorite artists. Just because her art is very realistic and beautiful. She inspired me to buy my first pack of very expensive Prismacolor Pencils.(: Can't wait to try them out! I hope one day to be an artist like her one day and I hope you also find some inspiration in her art. I'm very proud to do this review of her and I hope you go follow her on Instragram! @becwinnel, Enjoy!

Ear Cuffs

Lately I've been really into Ear Cuffs. I think they're a really cool awesome way to spice up your look. The cool thing about them is you don't really need to get your ear pierced for them. I mean you can, but you can find plenty of options where you can just bend it tightly around the side of your ear anywhere you want, but are usually worn just above your lobe like in the pictures above.
You can find any of these ear cuffs in the picture above at etsy.com. Perfect place for buying them, they have so many cute options! If I wasn't saving every penny for my car I would have already bought one. It's definitely my first purchase! Happy Monday everyone. (:

Scratch Board Art Tutorial

Hey guys, so if you're looking for something fun and easy to do, but still get really awesome results this project is perfect!
Here's some things you need:
1. Tape
2. A black and white printout of whatever image you want, you want to make sure that the black is the background color.
3. Piece of scratch board.
4. You can use an x-acto knife or a scratch board tool, I find that the x-acto knife is easier to use.
5. Pen

So you wanna start out by taping the image you want over the scratch board paper and just use a pen and outline the image and all it's highlights, it will make an impression on the scratch board and you can just start scratching off the white parts of the image and soon you'll have the image you wanted. (:

Hope this was easy and fun for you!

Wuthering Heights

Lately I've been reading a book by Emily Bronte called Wuthering Heights, it's about a man named Heathcliff and he falls in love with a girl named Catherine, and quite a few events happens that tear them apart.
Basically it's about Heathcliff getting revenge on the people that took his and Catherine's love.
It's narrated by Nelly one of their servants in the house and she's telling the story to a man that is renting out Thrushcross Grange, a piece of property that Heathcliff owns. He acquires about his landlord who seems very recluse.
This book is fairly difficult to read, just because it uses a lot of difficult words. Emily Bronte is Charlotte Bronte's sister so if you've ever read Jane Eyre it's sort of like reading that.
Although this book tore my heart to shreds, haha, it's a very good book to read. I hope you enjoy it. (:
